Pantai Kok Night Scene

Pantai Kok being at a more serene side of Langkawi isn’t as happening as Pantai Cenang’s buzzing beach. However with the Mat Cincang Mountain as a great backdrop, it has a charm of its own within a more private and scenic area. At Pantai Kok, the two places to enjoy a beautiful night out is at Telaga Harbour and the Oriental Village.

The Telaga Harbour Park in Pantai Kok is a marina with a range of dining options. It brings the life into the night scene at Pantai Kok. You can find restaurants that serve Italian, Indian, seafood, and even Russian! Also a hit here is a fancy bakery called The Loaf, which is run by a Japanese businessman with the partnership of Tun Dr. Mahathir, the ex-Prime Minister of Malaysia. The harbour’s atmosphere is adorned with international restaurants and bars to enjoy fines wines and a time well spent. It’s a more sober dining and drinking experience, catered to families, professionals and couples in search of a romantic time.

The Oriental Village, located nearby, also offers Asian cuisine and some trendy night outlets. Here you can bask in a cultural setup whilst enjoying food from all sorts of cuisine, including asian and western cuisine. At the Oriental Village you may also come across some trendy night outlets. Live music can be found at the Oriental Bistro, which serves up a Western cuisine such as lamb chops and steaks. For a zen dinner, Mizumi is a Japanese restaurant with an authentic atmosphere and a Japanese garden.
