Pantai Kok Attractions
When you think of Pantai Kok, you would think of
the more quiet time and precious moments you could spend here. There are many things to do here despite
Pantai Kok being known for its yachting and beach
activities.
The forests of Pantai Kok and the Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls are worth
exploring. You would have to book a trekking guide to take you into the forests as going on your own is not
advisable due to safety reasons. Your hotel should be able to make an arrangement for you.
The Oriental Village has an array of activities you might enjoy. The
landscape of the Oriental Village is one to appreciate, and for shopaholics, there is a promenade of shops
selling all sorts of craft and handmade items, not to mention duty-free items such as alcohol, cigarettes,
and foodstuff. There is also a petting zoo for those who want to be in the company of little animals. It’s a
majority of rabbits that are there and you can buy a bag of rabbit treats to feed the fluffy friends. The
cable car ride to the Peak of Mat Cincang Mountain is highly recommended. The view from the top is
breath-taking and you won’t regret it. Don’t worry about food because there are shacks and stalls up there
serving snacks, sweets and drinks.
A more relaxed and quiet scenario of basking in a leisurely yet quality
atmosphere by the pier where a line of beautiful yachts deck the docks, Telaga Harbor is the place to be.
Filled with a higher class of restaurants and bars, it is an exciting dining experience for those who enjoy
chilling out while appreciating the food and drink. A must visit is The Loaf, which is a bakery owned by Tun
Dr. Mahathir, Malaysia’s ex-Prime Minister and a Japanese business associate.
