Pantai Cenang Night Scene
Located not far from the jetty at Kuah, Pantai Cenang is the most
vibrant part of Langkawi. Centered amongst all the facilities you’d need, it stretches with bistros, pubs,
cafes, al-fresco restaurants and souvenir shops. Some of the bars are even directly on the beach, and it
makes the best chill out with the natural sounds of the waves crashing against the cool night
sands.
For a choice of dining, Pantai Cenang is home to a vast selection of
restaurants that include Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Western cuisine. Most
of them are in the open air, providing the perfect dining experience to fill your tummies up at the end of an
exciting beach day!
The holiday season brings in a major crowd to Pantai Cenang, and most
tourists can be seen window shopping, picking out souvenirs, or simply having a cheap, cool drink at the cozy
bars lined across the beach. The island’s cool weather also allows for a cool walk along the road and beach
sides
A highlight for many tourists is sitting by the beach around bonfires
where its organizer supplies an ice cold range of beer and soft drinks and lay out mats for ‘customers’.
