The climate in Langkawi maintains a regular temperature throughout the year on an average of 32*C during the day and about 21*C at night. Although the temperatures do not change drastically, the season of rain comes in September till mid November, so most holidays are advised to be planned before or after the rainy season, if you want a sunny perfect holiday. The rain doesn’t stay for an entire day, and usually begins in mid day, or night, or the other way around. 

April to August is the most unpredictable months as it could be both rainy and sunny. It still is a safe time to go as you will enjoy some parts of your holiday during the mid-season. Dry season being the peak season is from mid November till mid April, seeing sunny days mostly and possibly batches of little rain from time to time.

Prices of hotel rates usually drop during the low (rainy) seasons so if you want to take a chance it maybe the best time to plan a holiday!
